• December - 1996: Prize A, creating campaign for children competition, hold by journalist club for children, belongs to Vietnam journalist Association
• March, 1997: Third prize in the competition "creating fine arts for students", prize of foreign students.
• March, 2001: Participated in illustrating exhibition, hold by graphic branch, Vietnam Fine Arts Association. 
• July, 2003: Participated in caricature exhibition, hold by graphic branch, Vietnam Fine Arts Association.  
• June, 2006: Participated in the exhibition " Nam Cao and artworks in plastic arts"
• Currently, a close freelance for 14 non-governmental organizations, nearly 20 newspapers, magazines in Vietnam 

Graduated from Sculpture major, however Huu Khoa worked for Press cartoon field. In 4 years recently, he has researched and as a first painter in Vietnam who wants to find out portrait's cartoon art. Not only does he serve in Press illustration, but also he wants to change the portrait's cartoons into official artistic works. With his change ability, he changed shapes, lines of familiar faces into a sudden and creative game. His works is both familiar and strange. It is familiar for the lines of familiar faces. It is strange for original shapes which become deformity. Furthermore, not only does he distort, but also he wants to have a new vitality for his strong and funny characters. Looking at those works, we can't help laughing unconsciously, and then we suddenly realize that our life needs to have laughter and they are intelligent laughter. With 25 works of the first exhibition, he wants to show a funny party to present a new form of art to the people in Vietnam (although this form of art is not strange for the West nations). To present a new product to the people, he always hopes that it will gradually become a necessary dish which is indispensable to spiritual life of each Vietnamese citizen. He says that: "It is easier and happier if each face of surrounding persons can give you a laugh"
